Login To Windows XP Automatically Without A Password

This article is part of auto logon to windows series.

Just follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Click on Start button and select “RUN”
2. A run box appears. Type “control userpasswords2” into the box.
3. You will now see a box “User Accounts”. You need to choose the user for which you would like to allow automatic login. Also, you have to uncheck the box that reads “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer”. Click on “OK” button.
4. Another box with the title “Automatically Log on” appears. Now type the password in the box.
5. Click “OK”.
